| "About The Revelators"
The Revelators are members of the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Eagle Rock, MO. The church serves as a hub for many outreach ministries, this group being one of them. The biggest thing for all of the Hiles is the ministry. They love doing what they do for the Lord. And they love Who they're doing it for. Now, let’s take a few moments to get to know the individuals in the group from Cassville, MO. John & Wilma felt God was calling them into the ministry together. So in 1986, John & Wilma formed The Revelators. Two years later, John & Wilma were married in 1988. So, as you can see, God had His plan in motion before they really even knew what was going on. All they knew was that they both loved gospel music & wanted to do something for the Lord. John Hile is the lead singer & bass player for The Revelators. When John's not out singing or preaching, he enjoys writing songs, working in the recording studio & cooking on the grill. Wilma Hile stays busy with her job. But she enjoys arranging flowers in her spare time. Wilma plays the piano & sings alto for the group. Her contributions are so essential to this ministry. In fact, John shared how they just couldn't make it without her. In 1989, their first daughter, Tiffany, was born. Little did they know what God had in store for her. In the fall of 2001, The Revelators found themselves needing a singer. One night, at practice, Tiffany wanted to give it a try. She stepped up to the microphone & started signing harmony notes nobody, including herself, knew she could sing. It was hard to hold back the tears as her parents watched their little girl singing about Jesus. In October of 2001, she joined The Revelators at the age of 12, fulfilling a long time dream John & Wilma had of being a family group. Now Tiffany is singing & runs the product table for the group. She also stays busy with school activities & attends Cassville High School. Tiffany Hile is also very active in her school choir. Their youngest daughter, Brittney, stays busy & keeps her family busy as well, by running after her. Her favorite subject is horses. She loves anything that has to do with horses, whether it be riding, petting or just looking at them in a book. Brittney’s also been learning how to play the guitar & sings with the group on occasion. The Hiles have a miniature tan dachshund named Sugar. She brings a great deal of joy to their lives. In fact, stop on by Sugar’s own web page & share in our enjoyment. Our Hile family from the Ozark Mountains in southwest Missouri have come a long way since they started, & they can hardly wait to see what's going to happen next. |
| The Vision Of The Revelators It is our vision to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost & hurting world. To preach the gospel according to God's Word & leaning totally on His guidance for each step that we take. Our vision is to work under the power of the Holy Ghost & under the authority of our church & the leadership thereof. Also, to hold up the vision of our church, which is, "To seek out & save that which is lost & to shine the love of Jesus into a lost & darkened world." It is our vision to minister to multitudes of people, turning away no one who is in need. To work in unity as one vessel, carrying the anointing at all times. It is our vision to conduct ourselves in a Christ-like manner, & submitting ourselves to those who are in authority over us. To press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus, not compromising God's Word with anything. We will not count the cost, nor the sacrifices that are made to work in this ministry. It is our vision to sing the songs of Zion, with joy from our hearts, never allowing our song to become merely a lip service. We will write our songs only as the inspiration of God leads us. We will work until the day that Jesus comes, in all humility, knowing & understanding that Jesus is Lord over all. Habakkuk 2:2-3 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. |
